Point leak detection is the most common leak detection used. Our line of point water detectors are designed to meet the demands of our customer. Point detectors for underfloor leak detection, overflow drain pans and water heater and HVAC drain protection. The relay contacts in each sensor are non-powered (dry) allowing connection to most any monitoring panel or system.
We have been providing the finest in high-tech solutions to industry's monitoring and control needs since 1987. We were the first company to develop a complete line of water detection products that could cover any customer requirement.

WD-1 and WD-1-S are basic point water detectors featuring silver-plated probes and microchip technology, a design that provides the highest level of water detection confidence. Power for the units may be from 12 to 24 VAC or VDC. For application flexibility, form “C” relay points are provided for connection to MCT's GMP

Power for the units may be from 12 to 24 VAC or VDC. For application flexibility, form “C” relay points are provided for connection to MCT's GMP, MPR or similar monitoring equipment. The WD-1 and WD-1-S are each housed in a height-adjustable, galvanized steel enclosure.
The WD-1 or WD-1-S may be utilized with any “contact closure” monitoring panel or system. To accommodate virtually all installations, the “dry” contact points may be wired normally open or normally closed. Once powered, relay contacts on the WD-1 remain in the same state until water reaches the sensing probes, closing the contact. The WD-1-S sensors are reverse acting and make contact as soon as power is supplied to the unit. The presence of water releases the contact and the relay returns to a non-powered state.

All WD1-LP series detectors use the same proven and reliable
WD1 electronics. All models can be operated from 12- 24 Volts AC or DC. Alarm signaling is provided with one or two form “C” relay contacts, depending on the model ordered. Connect the WD1–LP to a MCT. MPR, GMP monitoring panel or a SCADA or BMS monitoring system to complete the monitoring package. A height adjustable, galvanized steel enclosure is standard.
The WD1-LP models change the relay contact state, and lights the red LED on the cover when water is present at the sensing probes. The WD1-LP model provide a single or dual set of dry relay contacts. The WD1-LPS models include fail-safe circuitry to signal an alarm condition for an internal malfunction or loss of power to the sensor. The WD1-LPS models incorporate a reverse acting set of relay contacts that are closed in a normal condition.

Alarm and control signaling is provided with form "C" relay contacts. The DD1 can be connected to any of MCT's monitoring systems to complete the monitoring package. The DD1 can also be used as a stand-alone controller for cooling or water flow shutdown.
Air Conditioning:
The DD1 relay contacts can be used to inhibit cooling when a high water level in a drain pan is detected. This will prevent water damage to the ceiling or flooring due to a clogged condensate drain.
Water Heaters:
The DD1 relay contacts can be used to close an electric solenoid when a water heater is dripping into an emergency drain pan. This will prevent serious water damage to the building should the emergency drain pan become clogged.
Mounting:
The DD1 sensing-probe, clips to the drain pan using a galvanized mounting bracket. The sensing probe is adjustable for maintaining the proper water level. The control module can be mounted on any flat, smooth surface using the mounting holes in the module feet.
